I want to visit Europe
I'm not sure why, but for some reason I want to go visit Europe. How about you?

Of course to be total fair, you could say that the girl on the left could be found in any city in America while the one on the right reminds me of Germany. I wish they all could be California girls...

Dennis Prager and cabbies
Here's an article from Dennis Prager about your everyday, peace-loving, non-blow-you-up Muslim.
Obviously we have some issues here. Instead of blowing people up to impose sharia law, these peace-loving muslims will just impose their beliefs on people by default. So no matter where they live or work, they expect and impose their beliefs on those around them and expect all to follow suit. Well, let's return the favor. Anytime you get a chance, refuse service to a Muslim. Obviously, at least here in America, people don't wear their religion on a button, but if you enter a cab or store that shows signs of being Muslim owned, jsut say "No Thanks. It's against my self-imposed morality to frequent and patronize a religion that discriminates."
Eventually they'll only get Muslim patrons and hopefully while their business fails miserably, they'll get the clue not to continue to be assholes to others. Just a thought.
In Britain and Australia, Muslim taxi drivers refuse to pick up passengers who have a dog with them – even when the passenger is blind and the dog is a Seeing Eye dog. Nearly all religious Muslims believe that Islam forbids them to come into contact with dogs. Therefore, Muslim taxi drivers will even drive by a blind person standing in the cold, lest they come into contact with the dog.Read the whole article here
And in Minneapolis, Minn., Muslim taxi drivers, who make up a significant percentage of taxi drivers in that city, refuse to pick up passengers who have a bottle of wine or other alcoholic beverage with them.
This is significant. We are not talking here about Muslim fanatics or Muslim terrorists, but about decent everyday Muslims. And what these practices reveal is something virtually unknown in Judeo-Christian societies – the imposing of one's religious practices on others.

What's Your Theme Song?
| Your Theme Song is Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd |
![]() "There is no pain, you are receding. A distant ship?s smoke on the horizon. You are only coming through in waves." You haven't been feeling a lot lately, and you think that's a good thing. The comfortable part is nice... but you should really work on numb. |

Border Wall, Fox, Calderon and Chavez
Read the whole story at International Herald Tribune
TIJUANA, Mexico Mexico lobbied for six years for a comprehensive immigration reform that would allow millions to cross into the United States legally. Instead, it got a wall.
In Mexico City on Thursday, Fox reached out to the millions of Mexicans living north of the border.
"I have always believed that there is one Mexico, and that no walls can divide it," he said. "There are no barriers or borders or even fences that can keep Mexicans apart."
Mexican President-elect Felipe Calderon, speaking in the Chilean capital of Santiago, called the wall plan "a deplorable decision" that "does not solve our common problem, which is emigration."
After he takes office Dec. 1, he said, "the first thing I will do is continue to insist on the defense of the rights of Mexican immigrants in the United States." Calderon added that he will try to tackle the root cause of migration by creating more jobs in Mexico.
Guillermo Alonzo, a migration expert at the Tijuana-based Colegio de La Frontera Norte, said fences will do little to stop the illegal migration tide and instead will force migrants to look for new ways to sneak into the United States and find new routes through deadlier terrain.
"When migrants are determined to cross, they find a way to jump the fences," Alonzo said. "Walls don't stop anything."
--------------
At least Pres Fox is honest in saying he believes in only one Mexico.
To hell with us whiney US citizens, though, who complain that our way of life, economy and neighborhoods are driven into the 3rd world cesspool because of the mass influx of people. I hear open border people say that they'll assimilate because they always have. What they fail to take into account is that the amount that has crossed over illegally in the past five years is more than the last 100 years. I heard a report on the radio just the other day saying that many are leaving California to go to Kansas, Nebraska and Kentucky because Los Angeles is TOO MUCH like Mexico. Even the Mexicans admit there is too many, too quick for them to assimilate. But not our pathetic politicians! Nope. Republicans see them as cheap labor for the big corporations. Democrates see them as potential votes for future elections. What they don't see coming is a large emerging 3rd Party made up of poor, illiterate, gullible and dis-enfranchised people spurred on by Chavez and other commies pushing for the collapes of the US.
Calderon says he'll take the root of the problem which is lack of jobs in Mexico. Yeah, right. Good luck with that.

Clinton pardons Congressional perv...
Before all the Dems get their panties in a bunch they should check out:
Reynolds Rap
Claim: An ex-congressman who had sex with a subordinate won clemency from a president who had sex with a subordinate, then was hired by a clergyman who had sex with a subordinate.
Status: True.
Example: [Collected on the Internet, 2001]
Jessie Jackson has added former Chicago democratic congressman Mel Reynolds to the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition's payroll. Reynolds was among the 176 criminals excused in President Clinton's last-minute forgiveness spree. Reynolds received a commutation of his six-and-a-half-year federal sentence for 15 convictions of wire fraud, bank fraud & lies to the Federal Election Commission. He is more notorious; however, for concurrently serving five years for sleeping with an underage campaign volunteer.
This is a first in American politics: An ex-congressman who had sex with a subordinate won clemency from a president who had sex with a subordinate, then was hired by a clergyman who had sex with a subordinate.
His new job? Youth counselor.

That just proves that both parties are full of sh*t and need to be voted out!

California 156 years ago
Snagged from Kramjam Reiterates.
Why? Because it's funny.
California 156 years ago
Do you know what happened this week back in 1850, in California?
California became a state.
The State had no electricity.
The State had no money.
Almost everyone spoke Spanish.
There were gun fights in the streets.
So basically, it was just like California today except the women had real breasts and men didn't hold hands.

Intimidating the West
Jewish World Review article[Excerpts]
The violence by Muslims responding to comments by the pope fit a pattern that has been building and accelerating since 1989. Six times since then, Westerners did or said something that triggered death threats and violence in the Muslim world. Looking at them in the aggregate offers useful insights.
1989 -- Salman Rushdie's novel, The Satanic Verses prompted Ayatollah Khomeini to issue a death edict against him and his publishers, on the grounds that the book "is against Islam, the Prophet, and the Qur'an." Subsequent rioting led to over 20 deaths, mostly in India.
1997 -- The U.S. Supreme Court refused to remove a 1930s frieze showing Muhammad as lawgiver that decorates the main court chamber; the Council on American-Islamic Relations made an issue of this, leading to riots and injuries in India.
2002 -- The American Evangelical leader Jerry Falwell called Muhammad a "terrorist," leading to church burnings and at least 10 deaths in India.
2005 -- An incorrect story in Newsweek, reporting that American interrogators at Guantánamo Bay, "in an attempt to rattle suspects, flushed a Qur'an down a toilet," was picked up by the famous Pakistani cricketer, Imran Khan, and prompted protests around the Muslim world, leading to at least 15 deaths.
February 2006 -- The Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten published twelve cartoons of Muhammad, spurring a Palestinian imam in Copenhagen, Ahmed Abdel Rahman Abu Laban, to excite Muslim opinion against the Danish government. He succeeded so well, hundreds died, mostly in Nigeria.
September 2006 -- Pope Benedict XVI quoted a Byzantine emperor's views that what is new in Islam is "evil and inhuman," prompting the firebombing of churches and the murder of several Christians.
Incidents started in Europe (Rushdie, Danish cartoons, Pope Benedict) have grown much larger than those based in the United States (Supreme Court, Jerry Falwell, Koran flushing), reflecting the greater efficacy of Islamist aggression against Europeans than against Americans.
The extent of the violence is even more unpredictable -- one could not anticipate the cartoons causing the most fatalities and the pope's quote the fewest. And why so much violence in India?
These incidents also spotlight a total lack of reciprocity by Muslims. The Saudi government bans Bibles, crosses, and Stars of David, while Muslims routinely publish disgusting cartoons of Jews.
No conspiracy lies behind these six rounds of inflammation and aggression, but examined in retrospect, they coalesce and form a single, prolonged campaign of intimidation, with more sure to come. The basic message -- "You Westerners no longer have the privilege to say what you will about Islam, the Prophet, and the Qur'an, Islamic law rules you too" -- will return again and again until Westerners either do submit or Muslims realize their effort has failed.
That crap won't fly in Wyoming, I'll tell you that!
